A PUF panel price per sq ft is what most buyers in India search for, and a price per sqm is what every factory invoice carries; the gap between the two has cost more than one buyer a lakh. The short answer first. On 23 September 2026 our factory price for a 50 mm PUF roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,269 per sqm for orders of 3,000 sqm and above, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra (factory prices on 23 Sep 2026). Why PUF panels are priced per sqm

A panel is made to a width and cut to a length. Our roof panel covers 1.00 m of roof across its width; our wall panel covers 1.15 m. Multiply that by the cut length and you have the area of one panel in square metres, without any conversion. A 9 m roof panel is 9 sqm. A 6 m wall panel is 6.9 sqm.

Square feet would mean converting every panel, every slab and every invoice line by 10.764, and rounding each time. The factory, the truck and the drawing all work in metres; the rate follows.

PUF panel price per sq ft: the conversion, once

One square metre is 10.764 square feet. To turn a per-sqm rate into a per-sq-ft figure, divide by 10.764.

We price and bill per sqm. The figure on 23 Sep 2026 for the 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,269 per sqm — about ₹ 118 per sq ft. The conversion is for reference only; the invoice is per sqm.

Working a square-foot building in sqm

A buyer has a 10,000 sq ft shed roof in mind. 10,000 ÷ 10.764 is about 929 sqm. In roof panels of 1.00 m chargeable width, that is 929 sqm of panel before overhangs and ridge detail. On 23 Sep 2026 that quantity fell in the 750 sqm trial slab of the 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets, at ₹ 1,309 per sqm: a panel value of about ₹ 12,16,000, ex-factory Kathua, before GST and freight. The buyer’s next question is whether rounding the order up to 1,500 sqm, at ₹ 1,289 per sqm, suits the project; the slab rule bills the whole order at the slab it reaches.
